What you're agreeing to

By creating an account or using Senna, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time — we'll notify you of material changes by email.

What Senna is

Senna is an AI-powered science learning platform. An AI tutor guides you through scientific concepts via conversation. The content is educational and designed for curious adults.

Your account

You need an account to use Senna. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person — don't share accounts or create multiple ones.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Senna. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Acceptable use

Use Senna for learning. Don't use it to:

• Attempt to extract, manipulate, or misuse the AI system beyond its intended educational purpose
• Harass, abuse, or send harmful content through the conversation interface
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or systematically extract content from the platform
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit Senna's content or services
• Interfere with the platform's operation or other users' experience

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these rules.

AI-generated content

Senna's AI tutor generates responses based on curated scientific source material. While we work hard to ensure accuracy, AI can make mistakes. Senna is an educational tool, not a substitute for professional scientific, medical, or academic advice.

Don't rely on Senna for decisions that require professional expertise. If something the tutor says seems wrong, it might be — that's a limitation of current AI technology.

Intellectual property

Your content. The messages you write belong to you. By using Senna, you grant us a licence to store and process your messages for the purpose of providing the learning experience.

Our content. The platform, course material, AI tutor responses, design, and code are owned by Senna. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without permission.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Senna available but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We'll try to give reasonable notice for significant changes.

Limitation of liability

Senna is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

This includes, but is not limited to, reliance on AI-generated content, loss of data, or service interruptions.

Account deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@senna.ai. We'll process your request within 30 days. Deletion is permanent — we cannot recover your learning progress afterwards.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
